Girl at the Pediatrician

Developmental Care

Caryn Garriga Pediatrics is a leading developmental pediatric practice specializing in providing comprehensive care for children with diverse mental and physical health needs. We understand that every child is unique, and we are dedicated to diagnosing, treating, and supporting children with conditions such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delays, learning disabilities, depression/anxiety, OCD, genetic disorders, and other developmental disorders.

Our approach is centered on creating an inclusive and nurturing environment where children and their families feel understood, supported, and empowered. We work closely with parents, caregivers, and a network of specialists to develop personalized treatment plans that promote health, enhance functioning, and improve overall well-being.

Scheduling an Appointment

We are currently scheduling consults for a developmental evaluation. Our wait list is typically less than two months. If you would like your child evaluated, there are several forms that need to be completed prior to scheduling. Required forms include:

  • Parent Questionnaire (all children)

  • Preschool Questionnaire (for all children 5 & under who are in a childcare/educational facility. Can also be filled out by Early Intervention). Do not fill out if not applicable. Please note: This form is for schools only, not parents.

  • Educational Questionnaire (children 5 & up who are in elementary school. At least 1 teacher must fill it out)

  • We need copies of any and all evaluations (including speech, OT, PT, developmental therapy, early intervention, early childhood, neurology, genetics and psychiatry). If your child has an IEP, or has been evaluated for an IEP, please send the testing done to establish the IEP. If you are unable to obtain a  copy, please call the office.

When you have gathered and completed all of the paperwork, please email it, fax it or drop it off in person.

Pricing Model

We no longer accept insurance for consultations, except for Tricare/Humana. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept patients who are on Missouri Medicaid plans for consultations. By scheduling a consultation, you agree that you will not submit the claim to your insurance, and we will not bill insurance. Consultations are fully out-of-pocket. We generally offer consults on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.

Tuesday Appointments:

Tuesday appointments are typically reserved for children six and over. The fee is $600 and includes the initial consultation and one follow-up visit usually conducted one a month after the consultation. Both parents must be present at the initial consultation. Exceptions include a deceased parent, a deployed parent or a parent with no legal or physical custody. There are no other exceptions. Consultations run from 1.5 to 2 hours, in general. The follow up visit is usually around 30 minutes.

Thursday Appointments:

Thursday appointments are typically reserved for children five and under. The fee is $475 for the consultation. There may also be a CARS-2 performed if there is a concern for autism spectrum disorder. The visit usually lasts around 1.5 hours. There is no follow up visit included. Both parents must be present (as stated above).

Payment is expected at the time of the visit. We do offer monthly payment plans, but all payments must be final by the visit date. After any consultation, you will receive a copy of the visit notes which include the diagnosis and plan, as well as a copy of any testing that has been done. Your doctor will receive a copy as well.
